Miyama's line of GRP structural products, represent the leading edge in advanced construction materials. Durable and highly corrosion resistant, these products offer the unique combination of high safety standards and low life cycle cost. The corrosion resistance is effective for both strong acidic and caustic conditions, much more so than most treated ferrous and non-ferrous metals. In many environments, the corrosion resistant quality of the Miyama products even exceeds that of stainless steel.

Manhole Covers made from Glassfibre Reinforced Polyester are available for numerous opening sizes and loading requirements. From a tiny 300mm opening through to our 900mm opening cover and frame for a 10 tones loading, there is a size available to suit any application throughout the world. Two manufacturing techniques are used for our circular manhole covers, the traditional hand made resin and mould style technique, and the newly developed plastic injection molding technique. The latter has certain restrictions on the diameter of cover that can be handled by a plastic injection machine, however, with our constant research and testing of our products, we envisage that soon our entire range of circular manhole covers to be manufactured using the injection technique.

As well as various opening sizes and loading capacities available, the manholes are available in various colors such as safety yellow, black, blue, red, orange, green, brown, gray and white. We have our own standard keyhole configuration and markings, however these are easily changed to suit certain authorities requirements for keyholes, markings and lock-down facilities.
