The Miyama Nextep plastic encapsulated stepping irons MWT 203-16 is designed and manufactured with the latest technology available. Its steel core  is of the Japanese Standard - JIS G3112, and it is encapsulated in the highest quality polyethylene.  

Human engineering for the hand

By using an HDPE coating, we are able to form the plastic into an ergonomically designed grip (E1, E2). We call it the power grip because when one can get a better grip, one can apply more power, thus improving performance.

Eye, Hand and Sole Technology

We have developed features such as the X grid pattern on the stepping surface (E3), and in the new Lofty Step System we have improved this sole technology by integrating a slight inward decline (E4) to ensure a safe stepping surface. Oversized reflective lenses (E5) are available in red and green for low light working areas.
